A drag-and-drop page builder plugin for WordPress is called Elementor. This has two implications:
All things considered, the biggest advantage of using Elementor is that you may produce eye-catching page layouts and designs even if you’re not a professional or have no background in website development.
If you’re on a tight budget and don’t want to employ someone to help you with the site, this is very crucial.
Here is an example of my personal website after a fast Elementor makeover that was created while I was writing this Elementor review:
The DIY tenet appears to have great resonance with people. More than three million(!) WordPress websites had Elementor installed and operational as of the time of writing. That astounding figure only serves to highlight how thoroughly Elementor has swept the web.
Let’s examine some of Elementor’s most intriguing characteristics one at a time.
A few helpful elements are included with Elementor right out of the box (no pun intended):
It’s free.
Okay, to keep this Elementor review factual, I should probably mention there’s a Pro edition available as well. But you don’t really need it to enjoy, say, 90% of Elementor’s awesomeness — honestly!
The main plugin is available via the official WordPress repository (get it here). There are no hidden costs or signups/registrations needed. It just works!
Now, about that Pro edition. Granted, it does feature some interesting stuff that power users will enjoy:
This is an annual subscription, so you also get 24/7 support and updates as long as you stay subscribed.
Although Elementor has many remarkable design features, what if you lack any design experience? Then you can utilize one of the many ready-made Elementor templates.
And I do mean many when I say there are many. In the free version, there are more than 150 templates, and in the pro edition, there are more than 300.
Additionally, you receive what is known as Elementor Kits, which are sets of templates that share a common design aesthetic and let you create a complete, uniform website.
The library contains all types of common pages for different purposes. You’ll find a nice selection of about pages, contact pages, homepages, landing pages (also for various niches, such as a hotel, restaurants and so on), portfolios, team pages, and many more.
You can import templates into your page and then freely edit them to achieve the precise outcome you want.
Finally, you may save any of your own pages as templates so that you can reuse them on other pages or share them publicly on the internet with the community.
As I’m writing this Elementor review, I have to say that I’m incredibly impressed with this tool. I’ve used every major page builder plugin available, but Elementor continues to be my go-to, trusted option.
Of all the page builders, Elementor is the most user-friendly and offers the most functionality without the cost.
In essence, it’s the ideal do-it-yourself option for folks who want to design beautiful pages on their own but lack coding, HTML, or CSS knowledge.
If you feel a little constrained by what the built-in block editor in WordPress lets you accomplish, Elementor will also be helpful. Elementor will assist you if you’re having trouble placing your material where you want it, aligning the columns, or adding photos in a particular method.
Elementor is ultimately for those who wish to create stunning web pages without having any design experience.
